CHRISTMAS! Last Christmas really didn’t go to plan, but this one will! We are now taking bookings for Christmas Parties!
Or how about our festive dining private party featuring the very awesome and locally infamous Benni Beard serenading you with his mixtape of Pulp, Blur, Oasis, Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, The Coral, and Bruce Springsteen- to name a few?
Festive Dining Packages
We’re pleased to offer the following festive dining packages:
- Wednesday, Thursday or Friday Bookings – Up to 25 guests – £35 per guest
- Private party night (Tuesday only) – For 30+ guests – £200 plus £40 per guest
Each package is a 3-course set menu, and the table is guaranteed to be yours for the evening. For private dining, the restaurant is yours from 5pm til 11pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings for Christmas parties are taken strictly via email only. Please email email@example.com with your booking details and contact telephone number. We will contact you to confirm the booking and collect deposits.50% non-refundable deposit required to secure all-party bookings. All parties must be fully paid up 14 Days prior to booking. Our menu is a set menu however, with advanced notice, guests with essential dietary requirements can be catered for.
Classic French Onion Soup (GF*)
Sweet from caramelised onions, savoury from a rich beef stock. Sealed in with a Gruyere Cheese Crouton
Tempura style crayfish tails popcorn, with a chilli & garlic aioli, served in a gem lettuce cup.
Sweet Fig & Walnut Salad (V, GF*)
Rosemary roasted fig and walnut crumb salad, with roasted goats cheese & a sweet honey dressing.
Baked Camembert (V, GF*)
Baked French Camembert studded with garlic, baked bread, beetroot ketchup, roasted shallot purée, house chutney for two to share…
Caprese Salad (V, GF*)
Fresh heirloom tomatoes joined together with Mozzerella cheese and pea shoots lashed in basil infused olive oil.
Oven Roasted Butter-Basted Turkey (GF*)
The obligatory meat of the season- ‘wouldn’t be Christmas without it, eh? TurkeyCrownwithcrispyroasties, champ mash, roasted parsnip & carrots, tossed Brussel sprouts, sage & onion stuffing, licked with a rich turkey gravy- topped with a proper Yorkie-Pudding.
Steak and Frites (GF*) + £5 Suppliment
Pan-seared – to your liking – 10 oz Cumbrian ribeye beef steak, with house frites, a Bernaise sauce, and a fried hens egg.
Seafood Bouillabaisse (GF*)
Brining our take on a classic French fish stew to Lancaster. Haddock, Cod, Salmon, Mussels, Prawns & Squid simmered in a tomato, garlic and herb-based stew, finished with pickled capers and samphire, croutons, garlic aioli served with house frites & fresh bread.
Slow Braised Beef Featherblade
…slow cooked in a rich beefy gravy. Served with our house truffle oil & Parmesan frites, butternut squash purée, crispy onions, and a flourish of Bordelaise sauce
Glamorgan Sausages (V)
A vegetarian sausage made of Welsh Cheese and Leeks with fondant potato, braised beets and a lush port sauce.
Fillet of locally reared pork porchetta, sage, lemon and garlic stuffing, wrapped in smoked bacon, along with a caramelised apple purée, fondant potato, red wine jus & crisp pork crackling.
Seret Bistro Sticky Toffee Pudding (V)
A sweet, date-laden sponge, smothered in toffee sauce and finished with vanilla ice cream. Plate licking permitted.
Glazed Vanilla Creme Brulee (V, GF*)

Festive Mille-Fuellie (V)
Delicate Pâte Feuilleté or ‘puff pastry’ layered to sandwich a raspberry custard filling. with a festive-y cinnamon creme-pat’ & apple puree.

A selection of Dewlay of Garstang Cheeses, Rosemary crackers, fresh grapes, celery and house chutney- with a tipple of Port.
